Not frequented by many tourists and its situated in central Nepal, northwest of Kathmandu The terraced hillsides seem to climb to the sky. Many interesting ethnic groups a mixed of lifestyle offer you a glimpse into real Nepali life and this gives visitors an opportunity to observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with locals, hence giving the visitor a sense of satisfaction.
Gorkha is situated on a hill overlooking the snowy peaks of the Himalaya is a beautiful old ancient place. There are two attractive temples of Gorakhanath and Kali inside the place precinct. Besides its, the area also offer you, an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals; 526 species of plants (including 40 species of orchids), and 300 species of birds. Other interesting wild animals are the Himalayan thar, gaur, many kinds of monkeys and musk deer.
There are interesting panoramic views destination points are called Singala pass, Dharka, Jasail Kunda, Jyamrung, Kasigaun,Khanchok and Gorkha offer you more than 35 mountains over 6000meters(19'680ft).
Day 01: Kathmandu (1320m)
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Upon arrival at the airport, you would be received by our representative and then transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Betrawati Bazaar (630m.)
Today we drive from Kathmandu to Betrawati Bazaar. We would trace the route taken by Prithvi Narayan Shah on his invasion march to Kathmandu over two centuries ago. En route we would pass through Trisuli Bazaar. Our campsite would be arranged near by Sole Bazaar, on the bank of the Trisuli River. We would be fortunate enough to view wonderful views of farm fields, small villages, and terraced slopes set against a background of the Ganesh Himal.
Day 03: Betrawati Bazaar to Satdobate (1250m.)
We trek from Betrawati Bazaar to Satdobate (1500m.).We leave camp by crossing the suspension bridge over the Salankhu Khola . After the bridge, we would go to Chapo Danda (870m.) and take lunch. Having lunch, we just go around Chapo Dada to have splendid views of the terraced slopes. From Chapo Danda, our trail follows the new rough road to the west for about 200m. and head steep uphill through small villages. We finally arrive at a rest spot next to a small stupa. We take our path to the left from the stupa and make our final ascent up to the saddle and the town of Satobate (1250m.).
Day 04: Satdobato to Bhalche (1930m.)
From Satobate, we follow the trail westward along the ridgeline. We would climb steadily through small villages crossing many streams while heading up the Chalakhung Khola. En route we find people drying pears and weaving bamboo mats and baskets. The last half mile is steep uphill as we climb to our camp spot in the town of Bhalche (1930m). It would be our pleasure to observe unique attire of the local people, stunning sunset view, and rich culture of the area.mp. 5 hrs
Day 05: Bhalche to Gonga (2910m.)
It is our turn to head towards Gonga from Bhalche. Our trail goes penetrating the thick forest of rhododendron and Kharsu. Our trek would be further rewarding if we prepare ourselves for the spring season as in this season, the whole region appears colourful due to red, white and purple rhododendron flowers blooming in the mountainsides. The remaining time of the day is spent on walking through the dense jungle to Gonga (2910m). The town has separated the Nyam valley and the Saptang valley.
Day 06:Rest day for acclimatization.
We go around the valley for excursion. We would visit Nyam and Saptang too.
Day 07: Gonga to Rupchet Kharka (3634m.)
Today we trek from Gonga to Rupchet Kharka. Our route passes through the forests of rhododendron and fir. We slowly head northwest from Gonga ascending through the jungle of Mimatashi Karka. We arrive at Rupchet Kharka (3634m.), a large flat grassy area from where we would observe Langtang Himal (7225m.) and Gosainkunda.Besides, a stunning sunset view can also be observed from this place.
Day 08:Kharka to Pang sang- la (3850m)
Aftere breakfast at Kharka we trek to Pang Sang-la the trail goes to gently up hill and ridge walk to pang sang la. approximately 5 hours walk.
Day 09 :Pang sang-la to Somdang (3200m)
One can enjoy with great Mountain Views while you are walking from Pang sang la to Somdang which is small Tamang village.
Day 10 : Somdang to Gatlang (2225m)
Today we trek to Gatlang from Somdang. The trail is straight and moderate walk to Gatlang. Gatlang is a big tamang village which is popular for Tamang Heritage Trail (THT) trek, which is new home stay trekking route. Aproximately 6 hours walk.
Day 11 :Gatlang to Syabrubeshi (1620m)
After having breakfast we start to trek Syabrubeshi. We passed small tamang villages and rice filed terraces to Syaubrubeshi. One can enjoy with mountain views and mixed culture. Approximately 6-7 hours walk.
Day 12 : Syabrubeshi to Kathmandu
Early breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubeshi. It takes about 9 hours to arrive in Kathmandu If there is no traffic jam on the way.
